The Pakistan Taekwondo Federation has announced dates for G1 Event

The Pakistan Taekwondo Federation has announced dates for its first ever international G1 event. According to Public Relation department of PTF the event is holded in the month of November this Year. The event commencement will on 6 November and will be end on 8 of said month.The G1 event will be lasting for three days. In a statement given by PTF, Islamabad the capital territory is selected as final venue for the event.

Renowned Mountaineer Ali Sadpara found on K2

A rope fixing team has found the dead body of Muhammad Ali Sadpara, renowned mountaineer who had gone missing during a winter K2 expedition. The body was reportedly found by the rope fixing team of sherpas 300 meters below the “bottle neck at k2. Accordingly sources two bodies have been found by the fixing team of 'Madison Mountaineering/Mashabrum Expeditions Treks and Tours'. One body has been found 300 meters and the other is 400m below bottle neck,They said . Accordingly team the second body could be of John Snori. For Recapitulation,three climbers had gone missing during winter expedetion on k2 last febuary

24th July ,A very big day in the history of Skardu Airport. Today's PIA operated and handled 12 Airbus 320 flights from across Pakistan and the best part is the Skardu Airport is going to be an international airport soon. The preparations are going on for the last several months. Flights arrived/departed from Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Sialkot and Faisalabad. Skardu Airport is one of the busiest Airports these days in Pakistan.

Rain induced floods,land sliding block Karakoram Highway,Distrupt life in Gilgit-Baltistan

Landsliding, a glacial lake outburst and flash floods caused by continuous heavy rain in Gilgit-Baltistan since the past four days has disrupted life in the area, causing damage to scores of vehicles and blocking roads, particularly on the Karakoram Highway, officials said. As a result of rain-induced floods, the land route between Gilgit and Rawalpindi has also been blocked, and tourists, in particular, are facing difficulties. The Karakoram Highway has remained closed for traffic for the second consecutive day due to land sliding at Tatta Pani and Lal Pari areas of GB's Diamer district, according to the Diamer police control room. As a result, several tourists are stuck. According to Information Department Deputy Director Farooq Ahmed Khan, the Karakoram Highway had been blocked for traffic at nine points due to land sliding. He said the road had been cleared at seven of the affected points and restoration work at the two remaining points was under way since Thursday morning.
