Islamabad zoo closed on December 16 after its final occupant relocated


The Himalayan brown bear at Islamabad’s Marghazar Zoo named ‘Bubloo’ is being transported to a sanctuary in Jordan.

The zoo, which drew international condemnation for its treatment of lonely elephant Kaavan, closed on December 16 after its final occupants were relocated abroad.

Establishment of IT Park Incubation Center, signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Karakoram University and SCO officials.

 The two institutions will jointly work on IT projects. A memorandum of understanding was signed between Karakoram University and SCO officials to take forward matters of mutual cooperation.  According to the memorandum, the two institutions will jointly work on various projects for the promotion of information Technology.The MoU signing ceremony was held at Karakoram University main campus on july 07. General (Retd) Perveiz Musharraf, a former President of Pakistan has passed away in Dubai

General (Retd) Perveiz Musharraf, a dictator and former President of Pakistan, has died in Dubai. According to Initial reports, his health began to deteriorating a few days ago, and he was shifted to an American hospital in Dubai. After receiving treatment for four days, he succumb to death this morning. 1999 to 2008, General Musharraf served as the tenth President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
