Two Jawans of Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts martyred when an avalanche hit them in Siachin glacier. 
The funeral prayers were held in Gilgit and attended by top civil and military officials. 
Sepoy Faraz Ali was from Nagaral locality of Gilgit.
Sepoy Sultan Ali was a resident of Shitmerg village of Chipurson Gojal Hunza.

In a first, Gilgit Baltistan hosts International Boxing Tournament

WBA Asia Welterweight Championship held at Lalik Jan Stadium in Gilgit on Saturday Event organized by boxing champion Usman Wazeer with support of the Force Commander Northern Areas. Athletes from 10 countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea and the Philippines, fought on Saturday in the first World Boxing Association’s tournament organized in Pakistan’s northern Gilgit-Baltistan region. General (Retd) Perveiz Musharraf, a dictator and former President of Pakistan, has died in Dubai. According to Initial reports, his health began to deteriorating a few days ago, and he was shifted to an American hospital in Dubai. After receiving treatment for four days, he succumb to death this morning. 1999 to 2008, General Musharraf served as the tenth President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
